English language challenges
My experience learning english at university has been fine. I learned the basics in high school and have had a hard time learning english over the years. I know a few "basic" words and the verb to be, but I have a hard time putting together well constituted sentences, especially when trying to have fluent english conversations. When I hear someone speak english I may understand, in general, but the detail is difficult for me to grasp. Using blogs has helped me to add more words to my vocabulary, but I have dropped the pronunciation. For me, blogs are a good tool to be able to talk about different topics in english and internalize the language in different subjects.
To improve my english, in terms of pronunciation and grammar, I watch movies and series that help me to understand and internalize it better. Although I always put the subtitles on, listening to it helps me to know forms of expression that are used in everyday life either to answer or ask different things, but beyond that, my relationship with english is null. Once I installed an application on my cell phone to force myself to learn it and discipline myself to use it, but it didn't work. Soon after I uninstalled it and forgot everything I had learned.
