English language challenges

My experience learning english at university has been fine. I learned the basics in high school and have had a hard time learning english over the years. I know a few "basic" words and the verb to be, but I have a hard time putting together well constituted sentences, especially when trying to have fluent english conversations. When I hear someone speak english I may understand, in general, but the detail is difficult for me to grasp. Using blogs has helped me to add more words to my vocabulary, but I have dropped the pronunciation. For me, blogs are a good tool to be able to talk about different topics in english and internalize the language in different subjects.  To improve my english, in terms of pronunciation and grammar, I watch movies and series that help me to understand and internalize it better. Although I always put the subtitles on, listening to it helps me to know forms of expression that are used in everyday life either to answer or ask different things, but bey...

 The first thing that came to my mind with this theme was fruit. My favorite food is fruits, they bring so much and are so easy to eat. I love them because they are so versatile and surprising in their particularities. I love that there is so much variety, that when I eat each one I get a surprise, because none of them is the same. Each one has such a special shape, such magical flavors. I love the idea that it is the union between earth and water, and through it I can absorb so many vitamins and minerals that I don´t need anything else to be satiated during the day. I could definitely live on fruit. I think they are quite underrated and there is so much to access through them. They have been left as a snack or just a dessert, but I really feel like they should be the main course in our meals.
